Whether you're uninsured, underinsured, faced with high copays and deductibles, or facing other financial challenges- there are resources out there that can help alleviate some of the financial constraints around accessing therapy. 

Sliding-Scale

Open Path Psychotherapy Collective

Directory for connecting clients to therapists offering therapy at a sliding-scale rate of $40-$70/session (for individuals) after a one-time application and fee of $65.

The Loveland Foundation

Provides financial assistance to Black women and girls seeking therapy

Therapy Funding

The Mental Health Fund for Queer and Trans BI&POC

Provides financial assistance to Queer and Trans Black, Indigenous, and People of Color for up to 8 sessions with a licensed therapist

Therapy Funding

Mental Health Liberation BIPOC Therapy Fund

Open to Black, Indigenous, and People of Color adult (18+) living in the US that are in need of financial support for mental health therapy. Certain periods may prioritize specific BIPOC populations.

A Therapist Like Me Therapy Voucher Program

Offering vouchers to clients from historically marginalized communities who are encountering financial barriers to accessing therapy. Applications open twice a year and are currently limited to clients located in North Carolina.

Sliding Scale

All Souls Counseling Center

Offering counseling services to uninsured (no forms of insurance) and underinsured (high deductible/ high copay/ etc.) adults on a sliding-scale based on factors relating to annual household income and ability to pay.
